The ideals of liberty are spreading at Wake Forest, and it’s happening faster than I would ever have imagined.

At the start of this semester, I sat down in the back of Starbucks with Jared Fuller, Nathan Fox-Helser, Andrew Butler, Paul Monroe, Amber Worthington and a few other students. We were brainstorming to think of ways to spread the message of liberty on this campus. We didn’t even have a chartered organization, much less funds to conduct any events.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a movie with Zac Efron? I know I do, and I won’t deny it. I will sadly say that I saw all the High School Musicals just for him, and then I saw 17 Again. Three times. Not for all the fabulous Oscar-winning screenplays or the amazing costumes, but simply for the pure, simple pleasure of watching Efron charm his way through the movie and not to mention, he is easy on the eyes. Efron plays a charming young man who doesn’t know why he’s transformed into his 17-year-old body.

When I was first asked to write “He Said,” I was a little apprehensive.

I had some sexual experience back then but I wondered, was I really qualified to write a sex column?

Did I really have what it takes? I’m still not so sure whether I do (I will let you guys be the judge of that), but either way I think this column has had a very positive impact on the university community.
