Let there be light…shows!

If you happen to be downtown throughout the weekend, make sure you glance up at the sides of the Pepper Building, 101 W. Third St., Nov. 19-21.

As part of the Winston-Salem Light Project, this year led by Norman Coates and the lighting design students at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, the building will feature this multimedia public-art display about the depletion of the world’s natural resources in hopes to spread the “green” message.

If you can recall, the Project lit up the Millennium Center last year making the building appear to be a palette of various colors.  This year’s team will feature the latest work from the UNCSA lighting design students.

The show will run in cycles between 7 and 11 p.m.

The Winston-Salem Light Project, featuring the lighting design students from UNCSA, last year made the Millennium Center light up the night.
