Deacons take tournament by storm

Ranked No. 6 in the nation and No. 4 in the ACC, the Wake Forest field hockey program kicked off the 2010 season in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge this past weekend in Chapel Hill.
The Lady Deas entered into the Aug. 28 game against Iowa with an impressive 8-2 record over the Hawkeyes from past years.

The Demon Deacons finished their exhibition season with a perfect record on an Aug. 27 night with an exciting 3-2 win over the Furman Paladins in front of a crowd of over 2,300 in Greenville, S.C.
